Merry, Merry Monday! Post #1

I've noticed that a lot of people, along with myself, dread and/or dislike Mondays. I can definitely understand why, but I'm going to try and contribute to making your Monday, (or any bad day), just a little merrier! Although this is a small contribution, if I can brighten someone's day just by making a little post for you to read, then I am more than happy! I will try my very, very best to create a, "Merry Monday", post every Monday for you all. That would be my goal! I'm always busy, but I hope that I can organize my time well and do this for you. Every Monday I will post something happy, funny, uplifting, a favorite quote of mine, just anything really! This category on my blog is mainly for my "Merry Monday" posts, but occasionally you'll see a separate inspirational one here and there. I will also post thoughts or ideas that I ponder on in this section of my blog. I hope that anyone who is having a hard time, can come to this category on my blog to read a little something. Today I wanted to talk about overthinking things. This is a bad habit of mine that I literally (and unintentionally), perform practically everyday. I don't mean to, but overthinking/overcritical, worrying, pondering, etc. is part of my nature! Sometimes it's okay to have attention to details and to notice things, and it's natural to worry sometimes of course. But what I'm trying to get at today is that it's ok. Everything will fall into place. No matter what happens, it'll be alright. No need to stress. Don't worry. God will help us. Everything has it's way. Time will tell. No matter what religion you follow, if any, there is one thing that we can ALL believe in TOGETHER. That is faith. We all have the power to have faith that things will turn out. The crashed car won't mend it self, but it'll be ok. The failure is only natural and can help you become a better person. And I know that when you're on the road and your car breaks down, you won't think "ah, it's fine, no need to worry". It is only natural to think, "OH MY GOD. What the heck am I going to do? Why would this happen to me? Today of all days?" And I'm definitely not saying to be super overly optimistic and not care about anything, what I'm saying is that don't bother stressing the little things. It's ok to be late to school, get a stain on your clothes, and leave your house a complete mess. IT IS OK!!!!! When we continuously remind ourselves that everything will work out and fall into place, we WILL start believing it! Often times, we feel that our mind controls us and that when we feel sad and don't know why, that's all we can do. But I challenge you to CHANGE the way you think. I continuously remind and tell myself that EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT, and I do believe it! When we give ourselves grace and let loose in the minor frustrating moments, we can apply that mindset to anything big or small. I believe that anything good or bad was given to me by God for a reason. Bad situations are not a punishment, but a task. Everyday we have a choice to make that task easier, more enjoyable, or just as bad as it may seem. I am being broad because I want you to be able to apply this to any situation that you have under your sleeve! So this week, let us all come together. Face our fears, tackle the dreaded task, be positive, do what we never thought we could do, and be great. Because we CAN. Scroll down to see some quotes that I just can't get enough of! Wishing you all a very merry Monday!
XOXO,
Kate
P.S.I will number all posts on my inspiration page to keep track of them!
